No. Root Hair & Skin is focused on Cosmetic Dermatology and as such we do not treat medical dermatology cases. We have a network of medical dermatologists we can refer you to that may take your insurance.

Do you treat skin cancer?

No. Although our dermatologist and physician assistants are able to treat skin cancer, our focus is on Cosmetic Dermatology and we can refer you to our network of medical dermatologists for your skin cancer diagnosis and treatments.

What’s the difference between cosmetic and medical dermatology?

Medical dermatology deals with conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer, while cosmetic dermatology services focus on enhancing appearance through injectables, lasers, other cosmetic treatments, and skincare.
